Temperatures Set To Plummet Across Country This Weekend
Wintry showers are expected along with very cold nights and widespread frost
Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reilly says snow is possible in places:
"Ìt will stay cold throughout the weekend, really, with a northerly breeze. Some showers early on in the North will become more widespread later through the day, with rain, hail, sleet, and even possibly some snow showers on higher ground. So really it's a very mixed few days ahead. Staying bitterly cold, and another hard frost again tonight, dropping down to minus three or maybe even minus four degrees."
