Temporary Use Of An Empty School Building By Mayfield Gaelscoil Ruled Out

Cork City Council had asked if the school could use Scoil Eoin Aspal's building on the Old Youghal Road

The Department of Education has ruled out the temporary use of a vacated school building by Gaelscoil An Ghorit Alainn in Mayfield while they wait for their new school to be built..

The school is seeking permission for the continued use of prefabs in the grounds of Brian Dillons GAA club for another four years

Cork City Council asked if the school could use Scoil Eoin Aspal's building on the Old Youghal Road when it's vacated after the summer

However the Department says it's in talks about an educational use for the building but it is not considering it as a temporary re-location option for the Gaelscoil
