Tense atmosphere in the capital after second gangland killing

Gardai say they believe four masked men were involved in the fatal shooting of Eddie Hutch Snr in Dublin last night. 

Mr. Hutch, who was in his 50s, was shot dead on Poplar Row in North Strand at around 7.45 yesterday evening. 

He was shot a number of times and was pronounced dead at the scene.   

It follows the fatal shooting of David Byrne during a boxing weigh in at the Regency Hotel last Friday. 

Meanwhile, the Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald will meet with the Garda Commissioner Noirin O'Sullivan and senior officers later today to discuss both incidents.
