Tenth Delay On Planning Decision For Ringaskiddy Incinerator

It could take another three months before a decision is made on the €160 million facility. 

It's two years since the application was lodged by Indaver and the opposition which was mounted during an oral hearing into the plans argue that the landscape has changed again with a number of new developments which further adds to their argument that the area is unsuitable for the waste facility.

The Cork Harbour Alliance for a Safe Environment has hit out at An Bord Pleanála for the delays, one related to the request for additional information from Indaver. 

A decision on the incinerator is now due on April 12th.
