The 21st Annual Science Week begins
Events are taking place around Cork showing the science behind falling in love, making beer and our coffee in the mornings.
The 21st Annual Science Week will give people the opportunity to see the science behind our everyday lives.
The festival beings today, and aims to highlight the world of science and technology by relating it to how we live our lives.
Hundreds of events are being held nationwide and across Cork showing us the science behind falling in love, making beer, comedy and our coffee in the mornings.
It's hoped these events will encourage young people to take up science and technology subjects in college in the future, and it's hoped there is something for everybody.
Speaking to RedFM News Director of Communications at Science Foundation Ireland Dr Ruth Freeman says it's a great way for students to see if science is for them.
