The 40th Guinness Cork Jazz Festival Begins Today

The 40th Guinness Cork Jazz Festival kicks off this evening, and organisers say this year's line up is the best to date.
Artists such as Imelda May, Brian Deady, Paddy Casey and many more will be performing at venues across the city with live music available in over 70 venues Leeside.
Dave Mac's Drive on Cork's RedFM is live from 4pm at the Metropole Hotel, the home of the Festival Club, while at 6pm Paddy Casey and Brian Deady will kick off the Festival with a free open air launch event at Emmet Place
Speaking to RedFM News Festival Organiser Jenny Gleeson says the event has something for everyone:
