The Arts Council Has Awarded 75,000 Euro Between Cork City And County Council For A New Regional Project

The Arts Council has awarded 75,000 euro between Cork City and County Council to deliver a new regional project centred around the arts and older people.
'Creative Enquiry' will look at the role of the arts in safeguarding against the challenges of older age through creative engagement and dialogue.
The Sirius Arts Centre, Music Alive, and the Cork Midsummer Festival will each host a resident artist as part of the project, which will be supported nationally by Age and Opportunity.
The award comes as part of the Arts Council's 'Invitation to Collaboration' scheme, which promotes high quality access to, and engagement with the arts.
