New figures from Daft.ie show the average house in Cork county now costs €218,685
The average price of a house in Cork city has dropped to €265,637
That's according to the June Housing Market Report from Daft.ie which has recorded the price drop at 7.1% on last year's figures
There has been a similar drop in house prices in the county with the average house now costing €218,685 a drop of 6.9% compared to 12 months ago
The report's author Ronan Lyons says the housing market experienced a "wobble" during lockdown
