The Chief Executive Of Cork City Council Says She's Confident The Events Centre Will Come To Fruition
Tánaiste Cork's Simon Coveney recently told RedFM News that the government are very close to finalising funding.
Additional funding was requested for the project following an internal redesign of the facility and it was feared this could put the entire project in jeopardy.
However it's understood the State will inject an extra €10 million into the project in addition to the €20 million it pledged three years ago, however this has yet to be confirmed.
