The CIT Student Who Died After A Stabbing At A House On The Bandon Road Named Locally

He was 20 year old Cameron Blair from Ballinascarthy in West Cork
The young man who died after he was stabbed at a house on Bandon Road in the city last night has been named.
20 year old Cameron Blair from Ballinascarthy in West Cork was rushed to Cork University Hospital last night after he was stabbed in the neck however he died a short time later.
The 2nd year CIT Chemical Engineering student was a keen rugby player and a member of Bandon Athletics Club with whom he won a number of medals at both local and national level.
The scene at Bandon Road remains sealed off, with a full technical examination to take place this afternoon.
Gardaí at Togher are appealing for any witnesses to contact them and are urging anyone with video footage NOT to post it on social media.
