The Countdown To Christmas Is On With The Switching On Of The Cork City Christmas Lights This Evening

The festivities get underway from 6:30pm
The Academy of Popular Music and the Cork Deaf Choir will sing and SIGN a selection of Christmas songs.
The Lord Mayor Cllr Mick Finn will switch the lights on, on Patrick Street at 7:15pm.
There is also a rumoured appearance by Santa himself!
Normal Sunday parking restrictions are in place and traffic wardens are on duty.
