The Dáil has passed a Fianna Fáil bill which would strengthen the rights of mental health patients
It would give them more rights over services, and greater consultation about the way in which they are treated
It's one of several bills being passed on the Dáil's final day of business before the summer recess.
During the debate, Fianna Fáil's Lisa Chambers broke down as she shared how her own siblings were affected by the suicide of a close friend.
