The End Of The Good Friday Alcohol Ban Will Be Positive For Tourism In Cork 

That's the opinion of the manager of Soho Bar and Restaurant Sean McCarthy, who says some tourists were left disappointed and confused by the ban in previous years.

Many publicans described the 91 year old law against selling alcohol as outdated and argued that the lifting of restrictions would provide a boost to trade and tourism.

It's expected today will generate over €40 million Euro in sales for pubs around the country.
