The EU Is Accepting A British Request For An Extended Brexit Deadline

It was announced by European president Donald Tusk this morning

It's being described as a "flextension".

The hard deadline is being pushed out until the 31st of January.

But the UK could leave as soon as the 1st of December if MPs ratify an agreement in November.

The EU's chief negotiator Michel Barnier told reporters he was glad the decision was taken.
