41 year old Darren Murphy of Dan Desmond Villas, Passage West was handed a life sentence at Cork Circuit Criminal Court on Friday
Olivia's body was found at her home in Pembroke Cresent Passage West following a house fire.
A post mortem confirmed the 36 year old had received multiple stab wounds before the house was set on fire.
