The future of the Cork Jazz Festival could be at risk because of a new Public Health Alcohol Bill

The Alcohol Beverage Federation of Ireland says new measures proposed in the bill to restrict advertising will effectively ban the sponsorship of events.
Cork's Jazz Festival has worked in partnership with Guinness for the past 35 years, and the event attracts over 40,000 visitors to the city annually.
The Alcohol Beverage Federation of Ireland say if the measures proposed are implemented, up to €15 million euro could be lost to the local economy.
Speaking to RedFM News Chairperson of the Cork Jazz Festival Fiona Collins says the new bill could present a real threat to the festival.
