The Government Is Being Accused Of Letting The EU Give Away Irish Fishing Rights As Bargaining Chips During Brexit Talks

The deal was announced on Christmas Eve
Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue says the rights going to UK fishermen would cost 35 million euro a year.
But analysis released by his department earlier this week indicates a total loss of at least 43 million a year.
It's 15% of the value of all fish caught by Irish boats -- and independent TD Michael Collins says that's not fair when France is only losing 8%:
