The Heavy Rain And High Winds Have Led To Spot Flooding In Some Areas Around The City And County

Ardcahan bridge on the Dunmanway to Copeen Road is badly flooded and almost impassable.
The Cloghroe Rd is closed at Leemount Cross due to a fallen tree. Further north on this route, there is also flooding at Muskerry Golf Club so motorists are being asked to take an alternative route.
Gardaí in Mallow are reporting spot flooding on the N72 just outside the town, at the racecourse while Gardai are dealing with a fallen power line on Colmcille Ave in Mayfield, Cork City. The road is reportedly blocked.
A fallen tree is reportedly blocking the Ballylanders/Mitchelstown Rd (R513) before the golf club.
Met Eireann say the Status Yellow wind warning is in place until 6pm this evening
