The Higher Education Minister Says He's Committed To Making Sure More College-Owned Student Accomodation Is Built
Building has stalled due to the Covid-19 pandemic
A recent property industry report predicted around 1,600 units would be built this year - almost 2 thousand fewer than last year.
Before the pandemic, the Higher Education Authority estimated over 75 thousand student beds would be needed by 2024.
