The HSE has delayed the introduction of the new rules for breast cancer patients following major criticism
Under the new scheme all women who've had a mastectomy will see funding for post mastectomy bras and prostheses capped
However the scheme is being made available for all patients and not just medical card holders.
Changes are also being made to the provision of wigs or hairpieces to patients.
