The INMO Says That Cork's Health Services Have Plunged Into Crisis

A new statement from the INMO has been released today
Record overcrowding levels, hundreds of vacant frontline positions, profound shortages in community nursing, and chronic recruitment and retention issues were just some of the problems listed in a new statement released by the INMO today.
1,079 patientswere waiting on trolleys in Cork University Hospital in July this year, with 58 admitted patients waiting on beds this morning.
The INMO has sought urgent engagement with the health service management in what is being described as 'an intolerable situation'.
