The loss of two major events in the city in the coming weeks is challenging for the local authority and traders

That's according to the Chief Executive of Cork City Council Ann Doherty
The City Council's Chief Executive Ann Doherty says work is being done to keep some aspects of the festivals in a bid to sustain the local economy which benefits greatly from such events in the city.
