The Number Of Unemployed People In Cork Has Decreased By 18% Since Last Year

3,689 people left the Live Register in Cork City and County
This represents the highest decrease compared to any other region in the country.
Over 220,000 jobs have been created in the region since 2016, exceeding the target of 200,000 new jobs by 2020.
According to the CSO the number of unemployed people aged 25 and over in Ireland decreased by over 24,500.
The total number of people on the Live Register in July was at its lowest level since Febbruary 2008.
