The Owners Of Douglas Village Shopping Centre Say It's On Track To Reopen In August

The update follows a meeting between the owners and traders representative Terry Coleman this morning in the city.
Hundreds of employees at the centre were laid off when their employers were forced to close following a devastating fire in the multi-storey car park which caused millions of euro of damage at the end of August last year.
Demolition works have been underway since November and construction is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
Speaking to RedFM News, Terry Coleman says the traders he represents are are keen to reopen their businesses:
