The Proposed Flood Defence Work On Morrison's Island Has Been Described As 'Soulless'

That's according to the Green Party's Dan Boyle
The scheme consists of transforming the traditional stone wall quays between Parliament Bridge and Parnell Bridge with concrete walls.
It's part of a wider project to transform the Morrison's Island area with new and improved pedestrian walkways and open plazas, with decreased parking zones.
However the Green Party is calling to stall the planning decision on the project to allow City Councillors to consider other options.
Speaking to RedFM News, the Green Party's Dan Boyle says the use of concrete walls is over-engineered and uninspired:
