The sun in Cork could cause skin damage

The findings come from the Irish Cancer Society.

Cork had the highest number of days last year when the sun was strong enough to cause skin damage and increase the risk of skin cancer.

That's according to the Irish Cancer Society which is highlighted UV index levels across the country to mark the launch of its latest SunSmart campaign.
