The Taoiseach's defended Simon Coveney over his approach to an Air Corps pilot who refused to fly him to Cork

The former Defence Minister reportedly approached the pilot in 2015 after he refused to fly him from Dublin due to heavy fog
Reports earlier suggested Coveney had used a tone of frustration with the pilot, and that his decision not to fly was being challenged.
In the Dáil Leo Varadkar said the pilot must always have the final call - but Simon Coveney was not challenging him.
