A woman in her 20s is safe after being rescued off the West Cork coast yesterday.

Emergency services were tasked to Butlerstown after the woman became trapped in a sinkhole.

Two men who died in a fatal crash between a motorbike and a car in Charleville yesterday afternoon have been named. 

20 year old Michael McCarthy from Charleville and 73 year old Peter Heffernan from Dromcollogher in Co Limerick died following a collision on the N20 at Rathgoggin at around 2pm.
