The Victim Of Yesterday's Crash In North Cork Has Been Named Locally

Patrick McMahon of Churchtown died after a collision between a van and a tractor near Buttevant
A 39 year old man killed in a crash in North Cork yesterday has been named locally as Patrick McMahon.
It happened at around 1 o'clock when the van he was driving collided with a tractor near Buttevant on the Liscarroll Road.
His 15 year old daughter is in a critical condition in hospital, while a 17 year old boy is seriously injured - the male driver of the tractor was unhurt.
The man's partner who following behind in a car came across the scene moments later.
Local councillor John Paul O'Shea says there are a lot of tractors on the roads at the moment:
