There Are Fears The Historic Odlums Building In The Docklands Could Become A Target Of Vandalism
Members of Cork City Council are calling for the Council to take action to protect the listed building on Kennedy Quay
It follows the burning of two historic buildings in Cork.
Vernon Mount house and St Kevin's were both destroyed by fire following periods of vandalism.
The Evening Echo reports that the iconic red brick building is seen as a key part of the regeneration of the docklands, the plans for which are expected to be finalised by mid summer.
