Theresa May Settles In To Role As British Prime Minister

Theresa May has spent her first night at Number 10 Downing Street, as British Prime Minister.

Last night the new PM wasted no time in appointing her new cabinet and also made a phonecall to the Taoiseach Enda Kenny. 

The two leaders spoke about the Northern Ireland peace process and the challenges for the republic and the north when BREXIT happens.

Meanwhile, Boris Johnson was offered the role of foreign secretary in Mrs May's cabinet.

He says he's "very humbled and very proud":
