Think twice about what you're doing before you take drugs

That's the message from the sister of a Cork teenager who lost his life after taking a deadly synthetic drug N-bomb
18 year old Alex Ryan died in January of last year after he took the drug at a party in the Greenmount area of the city.
A second death from synthetic drugs was recorded in Cork earlier this year following the death of teen Michael Cornacchia who is beleived to have consumed synthetic drug U4, a susbstance similar to cocaine.
Figures from the Health Research Board show the number of deaths related to cocaine and MDMA have more than double nationwide over a five year period.
Speaking to RedFM News, Nicole Ryan says students are not aware of the dangers of synthetic drugs.
