This week's winter storm could see a status red weather warning issued

The Beast from the East is expected to bring heavy snow and temperatures as low as -10 in the south and south east.
Cork looks set to avoid the worst of the weather but temperatures are set to plummet overnight.
The National Emergency Coordination Group says it will meet every day this week to monitor the situation.
Meanwhile Cork Simon say homeless people will be provided with extra emergency accommodation, they're opening up their high support houses in the city and increasing capacity at their Winter Night Shelter.
Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy says it's likely to get worse as the week goes on.
