Thousands Expected in Ringaskiddy for Seafest

Thousands are expected to descend on Ringaskiddy today for Seafest, Ireland’s first national maritime festival.
As well as providing a boost to the local economy the event will showcase what's on offer in the maritime industry Leeside.
The National Maritime College of Ireland which is emerging as one of the leaders in its field, will be showcasing their fully equipped state of the art simulators which are used for training Navigation and Engineering personnel.
These include fire and water safety exercise with hurricane simulation a feature.
Speaking to RedFM News head of commercial at the NMCI James O'Byrne says there will be something for everyone:
