Thousands Expected To Walk Out Of Class Today As Part Of Climate Strike

Thousands of students are expected to walk out of their classes as part of a climate strike in the City today.

The Friday's For Future movement came about last summer after Swedish secondary school student, Greta Thunberg began taking Fridays off classes to highlight climate change and her lone protest has now snowballed into an international school strike.

The Minister for Climate Action Richard Bruton says he has heard the voices of students as he travels to the UN climate summit today.
