Thousands Of Cork Students Are Expected To Gather On Grand Parade Tomorrow

It's for a 2-hour climate action march
It follows the global climate strike in March, which saw over 5,000 young people walking the streets of Cork as well as weekly strikes outside City Hall every Friday.
Leeside students are this time calling on the general public to join them tomororw in rallies to encourage government action on climate change.
The Fridays for Future movement developed after teenage climate activist, Greta Thunberg, began staging protests outside the Swedish parliament last year.
Tomorrow's protestors will gather on Grand Parade at 12pm before marching down South Mall and back to Grand Parade for a public rally.
Ireland South MEP, Grace O'Sullivan, who will join in the protests tomorrow, says the strikes are having an impact:
