Thousands of homes in Cork are still without power this weekend

ESB crews have been up since dawn as part of their restoration operation
Over 100,000 homes across Cork city and county were knocked off the power grid in the aftermath of Ophelia.
Members of the Defence Forces as well as crews from Wales, Scotland, England, the Isle of Man and France have been recruited as part of the operation.
However, current weather conditions could hamper their efforts and ESB Networks say more homes could potentially face further outages as Storm Brian hits.
Customers whose supply is affected by todays weather is asked to Contact ESB Networks on 1850 372 999.
Derek Hynes from ESB Network has thanked customers for their patience and pledged that no-one will be left behind.
