Three arrested in Cork under Operation Nascar
Three men have been arrested in Cork as part of a garda probe into fraudulent insurance claims. The three - who range in age from their twenties to their forties - were arrested this morning during an operation in Cork involving members of the Organised Crime Unit and Fraud Investigation Unit under Operation NASCAR They are being detained under Section 4 and Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act. Today's arrest brings to 20 the number of people arrested as part of this on-going investigation.
