Three Cork events receive Failte Ireland funding
Three Cork events are to receive funding from Failte Ireland 30,000 euro has been allocated to the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival, while the Cork Film Festival will receive 20,000 euro and 25,000 is being available for the Laya City Spectacular in Cork and Dublin this year.... The Tourism Minister says he's confident that the funding will have a signficant impact as festivals and events encourage greater visitor traffic and complement the county's appeal as a visitor destination.
