The men, two from Cork City aged 36 and 50 and one from Cobh in his forties were arrested on Thursday evening following the search of a premises at Cluain Ard in Cobh.
They were questioned at Cobh and Midleton Garda Stations and are due to be charged with membership of an illegal organisation.
Gardaí also seized two firearms and a quantity of ammunition during the raid which have been sent to Dublin for ballistic examination.
