Three men rescued off the West Cork coast yesterday evening
The men got into difficulty in a Jet Ski and a small pleasure boat just off the Seven Heads coastline
A number of lifeboats were involved in the rescue of three men off the West Cork coast yesterday evening.
The Courtmacsherry RNLI All Weather Lifeboat was called out at around 5.15 yesterday evening after the men got into difficulty in a Jet Ski and Small pleasure boat just off the Seven Heads coastline.
It's understood the men were blown on to the dangerous rocks after their crafts overturned.
Conditions at sea were very poor with strong force 5/6 winds and heavy swells in the area.
The Coastguard unit from Seven Heads, the Coastguard Rescue Helicopter, and The Kinsale RNLI Lifeboat all helped in the rescue.
All three have were taken safely ashore by the Lifeboat.
