Threshold Experience Huge Increase In People Contacting Their Cork Office Over Tenancy Terminations
The housing charity say the figures are worrying
The organisation says 320 people have contacted them since the start of 2019 to seek advice on the issue- a 47% rise on the same time last year.
The figures have been revealed as the government faces mounting pressure to deal with record homeless levels, with 402 adults in emergency accommodation in Cork in March.
Speaking to RedFM News, Edel Conlon from Threshold in Cork says they're concerned by the number of people contacting them.
