Threshold expresses concern as many struggle to pay rising rents

Threshold in Cork say many of their clients are struggling to make ends meet as rent rates continue to rise.
It's emerged there are only 800 available properties in Munster and the shortage of supply is being blamed for new figures which show that rents have reached a new record high this year.
According to the latest figures by daft.ie rents in the city rose by 10.4% and the average rent of a house is now €1,107.
In county rents rose by 13.1%.
Speaking to RedFM News Niall Horgan of Threshold says many people are struggling to keep their head above water and demand is outstripping supply in Cork:
