Tim O'Brien begins his cycle to Leinster House
A Cork father has begun his cycle to Dublin in his bid to get a medical card for his 2-year old daughter who has Down's Syndrome. Tim O'Brien handed letters into the offices of a number of locals TDs earlier and he's hoping to hand the letter into Leinster House tomorrow afternoon. Lucy was given a medical card due to her need for regular treatments but the support was withdrawn from her in May. Speaking to Cork's RedFM Tim says he's been blown away by the support shown to him over the past week: (Click above for audio)
