Time standing still on Leeside

Time continues to stand still for Cork's four faced liar - as the four faces of the Shandon Clock haven't moved in 9 months. The clock hasn't been repaired six months after the issue was first raised with the City Council which is responsible for the clock’s upkeep. Barry Keane is leading the campaign to fix the Shandon Clock and three weeks ago he wrote looking for a repair update. The City's Architects Office confirmed that a contractor has been agreed and is ready to go but they are awaiting funding approval from the City Manager's office Barry Keane told the Neil Prendeville Show that it's time to cut through the red tape and get the City's outstanding symbol repaired Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio
