Today Marks 3rd Anniversary Of Events Centre Sod Turning

It's been confirmed to RedFM News that it'll be a number of months before the project gets over the line.
It emerged last month that €9 million of the €30 million State funding for the project has been classified as a "re-payable loan" which sparked fears for further delays on the project.
The Tánaiste confirmed to RedFM News yesterday that he meets with various stakeholders every week to ensure progress on the 5,000 seat venue, and he says Live Nation and BAM are fully committed.
Speaking to RedFM News Tánaiste Simon Coveney says while legal teams representing various stakeholders are working out the legal and financial model to deliver the project, a planning process is also underway, but he believes it will happen:
