Today marks one year since the murder of George Floyd
It's been a year since George Floyd was murdered, leading to a protest movement which spread around the world.
Policies across several sectors have changed since his death - with calls for further changes ongoing.
Members of George's family will be hosted by Joe Biden in the White House today, to reflect on the person behind the headlines.
Cyril White who was one of his school friends says he's deeply missed.
"I'm always going to remember him as someone that wanted to help other people.
"I will always remember him as someone that wanted to see anyone who had a chance to be a good sportsman to take full advantage of their opportunity."
