Toddler dies after Phoenix Park crash
The 2 year old girl who was seriously injured after being struck by a car in the Phoenix Park yesterday evening has died. The toddler was hit by the car, which failed to stop, shortly before 6.30pm She was rushed to the Children's University Hospital at Temple Street, where she lost her fight for life in the early hours of this morning A 24 year old man was arrested a short time after the accident and he remains in custody at Blanchardstown Garda Station. He's being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
