Tonnes of animal blood discovered dumped in North Cork forest

Public health concerns have been sparked after tonnes of animal blood was found dumped in a remote forest in North Cork during the hottest weeks of the year.. A probe into the discovery has been launched by three agencies into the potential impact on public health and the environment as a result of the illegal dumping. It's understood that the dumping took place at night in the isolated forest and involved a large tanker spraying the mixture into the undergrowth.
