Former Debehnams staff have vowed to continue to campaign for reform of redundancy legislation.

Yesterday workers voted to accept the offer of a €3 milion training fund after after 400 days of action.

330 workers at Debenhams on Patrick Street and at Mahon Point shopping centre all lost their jobs last year with the closure of the Irish stores and former staff battled for a better redundancy deal, staging pickets, protests, marches, occupations and blockades right up until recent days.

Focus Ireland supported 570 households at risk of homelessness in Cork last year. 

The city-based charity also helped 20 families to move out of homelessness in the city and county with the support of the state and local authorities. 

The group have warned that family homelessness will deepen in Cork with the ending of the eviction ban.

Investigations will continue today to assess if a decryption key will unlock HSE data stolen during a ransomware attack. 

The criminal gang gave it to Irish authorities yesterday, and the HSE's assessing if it's safe to use on its computer systems. 

The government says it hasn't paid a ransom to get the key, while thousands of hospital appointments continue to be cancelled.

An exhibition to mark ten years since the visiti of QueenElizabeth to the English Market has been unveilled.

The phographic exhibition is at the Grand Parade entrance to the market.
